Philosophy

"Limits on Government, Not on People"

"The best government is that which governs least" -- Thomas Jefferson

We need to reclaim our heritage of self-reliance and respect for each other by allowing people to live their lives to the fullest without intervention.

People should be free to succeed or fail entirely on their merits and reap the benefits of their labor.

Government should be the last resort and only used if other means could not achieve necessary results, e.g. national defense.

Too many in our society now pause before they take up the tasks ahead of them, and see if the government will assist. People born into dependence on government largess learn not to look into themselves for answers, but to rely on others. We need to liberate that divine spark within each of us that calls us to rise above ourselves.
