Philosophy

"It's time for a change!"

I am very disillusioned with the two-party system. I feel that the Republicans and Democrats are both working for the big lobby groups and haven't worked for the average citizen for a very long time. I feel a vote for either of the two major parties is throwing away your vote, because they are basically the same. It is time for a major change in government and the Libertarians are the only group that can bring about that change in a reasonable manner.

I believe we should eliminate the unnecessary parts of government, while simultaneously lowering taxes. I've been to states that have toll roads so the people who actually use them pay for their maintenance. I would like to see Colorado taxpayers on a system in which the users are the only ones who pay for their services.

Because I am not a career politician, I will work only for the taxpayers and not for private interest groups. My goal is to make government as efficient as possible so that it can shrink to a reasonable size that doesn't require such high taxes.
