Philosophy
"DARE to trust in Liberty"
I believe that a society that allows its citizens the freedom to make their
own choices, and requires them to be responsible for those choices will thrive.
Prohibiting certain activities and requiring others is counter-productive
and unconstitutional. I believe people are sick of politicians who allow
polls to set their agenda, rather than lead according to principles.
I really feel the insane drug war is the root of much evil in our society.
It touches and affects many issues. Trying to fix the problems it causes
(or allows) without ending it is futile.
As a Libertarian, I am committed to principles that will foster liberty.
I am not willing to sacrifice my constituents' liberty to get elected
(or re-elected). I will do what I say I'm going to do.
Goals
- Decriminalize drugs
- Disband the RTD
- Eliminate state-controlled schools
- Vermont-style gun-carry laws
