"Ordinary leaders making America honest again!"
Today America is looked upon as a country lost in crime, drugs and corrupt
government. The average citizen has restricted rights -- unless he
has money. "Innocent until proven guilty" has become "guilty until proven
innocent". The current government has grown to the point of having too much
control over our money, yet does not recognize the individual as having a
voice. We must take control of our country, before we see it torn apart. Only
"We the people", the individual citizen can bring back traditional values,
and thus make our nation whole again.
Being a strong advocate of Education and healthcare, I am disturbed by the
"cures" being offered by my big-government opponents. I believe that we need
to address the root causes of the breakdown of these systems, in order to
reclaim our place as the world's leader in healthcare and education. Only
by returning choice (as well as the money) to the parents, can we hope to
reverse the declining trends in these areas.
When parents spend their own money and make their own choices for their
children's education, they are obviously going to take a greater interest
in their child's success or failure. Without this parental input, you cannot
expect anything but failure.
Goals
- End the state income tax.
- Offer a tax incentive to start-up companies who will replace the failed
compulsory, regulatory functions (e.g. hair care industry's sanitation and
sterilization laws) with non-coercive alternatives (e.g. Underwrighters
Laboratories, Consumer Reports, Good Housekeeping). Such alternatives will
improve consumer confidence in safety, without hindering freemarket creativity.
