Hats Off to Gottschalk

While washing windows the other day; had some pleasant conversation with a guy I'd just met, Pat Walsh. He told me of an experience where he needed the assistance of the Fairplay Police. The service provided by Chief, Dave Gottschalk was Outstanding! From what Pat told me, every citizen of Park County should be proud to have a Peace officer as willing to serve a person in need, a perfect stranger, as happened the other night. Hats Off Also, happy to report; I've seen no articles, this week, of the military enforcing seat belt "requirements" in Civilian jurisdictions, although I'll keep you updated. Remember Posse Commitatus? I must point out, however, the presence of so many Sheriffs, between Hoosier and Fairplay, on 11/27/02 was notable. This appeared to be one of Fred's "enforcement blitz's"-"saturation patrols". You know; "Click it, or Ticket".

I've got an idea. How about an "enforcement blitz" to check out the Burglar and Vandal that attacked me in 1999 and again in 2000? That's right, I still want some investigation into this you guys. Don't be embarrassed, it's never too late to do the right thing. Swallow your pride, give me a call and let's find these guys? I'm your friend. How many of our neighbors have been attacked by these vandals while you guys "prioritize" seat belt enforcement? Think about it. Real crimes are going unattended. Let's take a look at this?
