• Why I am Running

  I am a young adult dealing with the issues that all young adults face. Dealing with the entry level job market and running into the requirements that make it difficult for people in their twenties to make a living. This is an age bracket that is poorly represented and can only truly be represented by one of their own.

• On the Issues

  • Repeal mandatory auto insurance: Mandatory insurance laws cause higher insurance rates. Mandatory insurance actually increases the number of uninsured motorists. Mandatory laws decrease competition and price lower income people out of the market.

  • Repeal laws restricting gun ownership: I believe that one of our basic human rights is the right to self defense. Those who abuse guns in a criminal manner will not change their ways by the existing laws or passage of new laws. These laws only hurt the law abiding by removing a tool that may have been of benefit to them.

  • Eliminate race based, religious based, gender based and ethnic based quotas: The state should hire and make contracts; and colleges should admit people without resorting to institutional discrimination. Colorado should adopt hiring and promotion systems similar to The Air Force, which successfully hire and promote a diverse population without use of quotas.
