• Principal Beliefs

  I believe that economic progress for our families is tied to maintaining a fair and stable business infrastructure. To this end, we need to take a close look at our tax rates, to reduce bureaucracy across the board, to reduce fraud, and to eliminate subsidies for "favored" industries. In the same way, to promote social progress, we need to recognize the work done by charitable organizations, encourage innovative educational solutions, and provide tougher laws against violent crime.

• On the Issues

  • Education: Since educational vouchers have been ruled unconstitutional, the state needs to expand its support of charter schools and home schooling to further encourage our excellent alternatives to traditional schools.

  • Economic Progress: Our state legislature needs to be packed with individuals who actively defend the Taxpayers Bill of Rights (TABOR). I would do so. I would also support legislation to further protect individuals from identity theft, advertising fraud, and the economic devastation that they cause.

  • Violent Crime: We need laws that dramatically reduce domestic violence and provide better protection for victims. To reduce gang-related violence, we need to pull the distribution of marijuana from gangs and place it in the hands of legal entities. I support the defense and expansion of Amendment 20, our voter-approved medical marijuana law.

• Brief Bio

  I am a father of four. Our family moved to Colorado four years ago and we have fallen in love with the beauty of Colorado and its people. I was recruited here as a manager of information development at ChannelPoint, Inc., a position I had previously held at Novell, Inc.. Currently I am a real estate broker with RE/MAX All Stars. I hold a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration.
