• On the Issues

  • Bring the soldiers in Iraq home as soon as possible. President Bush should be held accountable for committing troops to foreign soil without a declaration of war. Congress abandoned it's responsibilities in illegally delegating it's war making authority. This venture does nothing to improve our nation's security. Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11 or Al Qaeda. This war is creating more enemies than friends. This war is being used as an excuse to erode our freedoms.

  • Eliminate vote fraud. The current drive to go to all electronic voting systems opens a huge window for abuse and vote fraud. Numerous irregularities have appeared in voting over the last several years. Electronic voting systems have been hacked, demonstrating frightful lapses in security. The current system has no checks and balances. It would be far better to have to wait a few days to find out the outcome of an election than to hand our system over to a few well connected insiders.

  • End Government Sponsored Child Selling Industry. The Clinton Administration helped pass the Adoption and Safe Families Act which gives federal cash rewards to county agencies for successfully adopting out children. This has had the perverse effect of causing some county agencies to be over zealous in breaking up functional families. The family is the cornerstone of our country. When a family is at stake, the facts should be the only guiding principle, not financial incentive. I will repeal the Adoption and Safe Families Act and gut major provisions of the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act.

• Brief Bio

  Rob Roberts served in the U.S. Air Force from 1988-2002 as a computer programmer, including an oversea tour in the Republic of Korea. Rob currently works as an apprentice locksmith and a contractor in the pet services industry
