In the event that you are not currently a dues-paying member of the Libertarian Party, I'd like to ask you to "join". While it is not a requirement in order to run for office as a Libertarian, it is important nonetheless for two main reasons. Firstly, as a member, you will receive the newsletters from both national and the state parties, which will provide you with very useful information when running a campaign, including new and interesting ways to answer various policy questions. Secondly, it might be embarrassing for both you the candidate, and we the party, should a member of the press find out that a candidate is running as a Libertarian, and yet, not a dues-paying member of the party.
